It is the responsibility of all customers to ensure that any goods being processed through our services do not contain prohibited materials or items.
If mail is found to contain any prohibited goods customers should liaise with the relevant authorities and pass on any realted information.
In addition to our internal policies, you as a customer also have to comply with the external postal/courier services and their relevant transport regulators. If you fail to comply when putting items into their networks, you can be in breach of the legal requirements, including for the transport of dangerous goods which is a criminal offence. You, therefore, adhere to their respective policies on prohibited goods and items that are processed via you home/business. As such, you should remain diligent in ensuring that you comply with all relevant policies.

For Safety Reasons
For safety reasons and complying with national and international regulations, there are both restricted and prohibited items that are excluded from the postal and courier network.
If collected or delivered goods, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are not exchanging any restricted or prohibited items using Parcelshere. It is essential to make sure that you know what is and what isn’t allowed to be shipped, otherwise you could find that you are prosecuted for shipping prohibited goods.
To have peace of mind, before shipping any goods, here is a general list of currently prohibited and restricted goods. Please note this list is a general guideline and full information please refer to the latest updates, posted by IATA, Postal operator and Courier companies.

Restricted Items
- Air guns, imitation or replica firearms, firearm parts and replica ammunition (includes rifle butts, trigger mechanisms, screws/bolts etc which are manufactured for the sole purpose of creating a functional firearm).
- Antiques and works of art with a shipment of excessive value.
- Banderols/Tax stickers with a shipment of excessive value.
- Dangerous / hazardous goods including but not limited to perfumes, aftershaves, aerosols, flammable substances, dry ice, biological substances, UN classified dangerous goods and any goods specified as such under International Air Transport Association regulations (“IATA”), the Agreement on Dangerous Goods by Road (“ADR”) or International Maritime Dangerous Goods (“IMDG”) regulations..

- Jewellery and watches of excessive value.
