When you want to have an item to be dropped-off when you are not home or cannot receive the item in person or even just want to schedule a drop-off with another person the option of a Drop-Off can be used.

1. Click on Drop-Off.
2. On the left pane type the name of the person dropping off the item. If the contact is in your address book that would be suggested as an option to use. If you do not want to use any know contact, continue by not selecting any option from the suggested names.
3. On the pane on the right the preferred method-of-exchange will be selected already. Please keep in mind the size of the item you are expecting to select the appropriate option.
4. The associated delivery address will appear below the selected delivery method-of-exchange.
5. Move on to select the preferred drop-off window.
6. When you are happy with the provided details click Book

What will happen next is the delivery shipment will be registered and your sender and carrier (same person) will be notified of the booked slot, by email.

Let friends & family pick an item up

When you want to have a item to be picked-up when you are not home or cannot hand-over the item in person the option of a ** Pick-Up ** can be used.

1. Click on Pick-Up.
2. On the pane on the left the preferred method-of-exchange will be selected already. Please keep in mind the size of the item you are collecting to select the appropriate option.
3. The associated collection address will appear below the selected collection method-of-exchange.
4. Move on to select the preferred drop-off window.
5. On the right hand pane type the name of the person collecting the item. If the contact is in your address book that would be suggested as an option to use. If you do not want to use any know contact, continue by not selecting any option from the suggested names.
6. When you are happy with the provided details click Book

What will happen next is the collection shipment will be registered and your receiver/collector and carrier (same person) will be notified of the booked slot, by email.

- Online Shopping with ParcelsHere integrated retailers

When you come across a online retailer that is integrated with ParcelsHere you can grant the retailer limited access to your “retail profile” and delivery options.

• This means the retailer can automatically populate your billing address (with out any other contact details)
• This also means you can at the moment you checkout your purchase use or select the best delivery option for that purchase.
• The retailer can then schedule a delivery time window in your ParcelsHere account
• And if the retailer has integrated track events your will be able to receive that inside your ParcelsHere account where you can manage the notifications and preferences.

Linking your Account

When you link the account you have with the retailer to your ParcelsHere account, you effectively grant the retailer access to see a bit of your ParcelsHere shopper profile. This is not your full profile and it is most likely the same information you gave the retailer (name and delivery address).

NOTE: You can at any time revoke that access from you parcelshere account or if the retailer provided a link.

Our service includes a safeguard for your parcel collections known as a “Safe Place”.

A safe place is similar to leaving your parcel at a local post office, or collection point. However, our definition of a safe place includes not only the standard collection points, but also your doorstep, neighbour or alternative location.

If the safe place is a neighbour, their details will be stored on our system. This is not public and is only visible to yourself. Their details are always secure.

By specifying a “safe place” location you are providing more options to ensure your parcel is delivered or collected on time. For example, some items may be too big to place in one of our standard lockers. Such items can be left in your “safe place” ensuring delivery or collection is not delayed. This means your parcels are delivered and/or collected first time, every time, and it cuts out all the hassle!

Alternatively, you may not wish to use your locker for some items, and prefer them to be delivered to the “safe place”.

The safe place options are:

NOTE: If you choose the “Return to Sender” options, the options “Locker” and “Redeliver” will no longer be available.

Get started with Safe Places

When using Parcelshere everything revolves around collections and deliveries aka shipments. When you cannot be at home top receive a delivery you can make use of this section to help you manage all of you fall-back options, whether it is under the flower pot or with a neighbour.

Exchange Locations

There are 6 possible locations where you can have you parcels collected or delivered.

+Safe Place +Neighbour +Doorstep +Redeliver +Return-to-Sender +Locker

The locations can be specified one and that will enable your to provide this information to retailers and delivery agents, friends or family.

Will my information be safe?

Safe Place

Describe your safe place here. This will help any delivery agent using ParcelsHere know where you want the parcel to be left.

Neighbour

Describe your neighbour here. (Within a max of 30m from your address) This will help any delivery agent using ParcelsHere know where you want the parcel to be left

Doorstep

Leave/Collect the item on/from the doorstep at the given address

Redeliver

Reattempt to deliver/collect the item to this address only. This would still be dependent on carrier redelivery policy.

Return-to-Sender

Return to sender only. No alternatives below this item will be visible to the carrier.

Locker

Deliver or collect the parcel to/from a your locker.

Enabling and disabling the options

Here you have the option to switch your preferred options on or off.

• Tick a checkbox to enable a safe place option.
• Untick a checkbox to disable a safe place option.

NOTE: By disabling a safe place option will not necessarily be visible to your delivery agent, the agent might not be monitoring safe place changes at the moment.

Viewing Shipments

Using this page gives you a list of all of you shipments. The intention is to only show your active shipments in this list. Once you have competed you exchange (collection or delivery) the status of the shipment can be changed to completed and it will be archived.

You have controls available to view or change the status of your shipment, as you wish. It is very flexible.

Contacts in the “Address Book” section are dynamically allocated to your shipments, so you always have full details of delivery/collection to hand, all within web site.

When you go to the lockers page, you will see 3 dots “…” next to each locker. This links to the settings of the locker, which are fully configurable.

The ‘how it works' section is basically part of the help centre section, even though they are separate in the top menu, so I’ll do the rest of this as part of the Help Centre.

Locker Settings

Inside the locker settings, you will see that each locker has a unique serial number, which identifies the locker. The dimensions of the specific locker are also stated, along with the load capacity.

It is possible to provide different access options as follows. Each item needs to be checked as required, in order to enable that feature:

My PIN (Locker PIN code)

A unique PIN can be set or generated for a locker. The PIN can then be used to access your locker. Each of your locker “family members” that you have added can then also use this to set or generate a new PIN.

The addresses can be:

• A neighbours' details for your "Safe Places."
• A courier or list of couriers which use the ParcelsHere locker service.
• Family addresses for use in the family Parcels Here locker service i.e. for family members who are permitted to use your locker subscription.
• Company addresses of suppliers to your parcel services, with contact addresses.

The key benefit of the online address book is that all addresses are available in one place. You don’t need to store them anywhere else.

When using Parcelshere everything revolves around collections and deliveries aka shipments. The address book page enables you to manage your delivery and collection locations and destinations in the form of contacts.

Viewing your address book entries

Using this page gives you a card deck of all of your contacts. There are two types of entries:

• - Registered Parcelshere user (card with a blue top-edge). This is a read-only card and the user’s full details are shared with you based on if the user agreed to share their details with you. The other user can stop sharing their details at any time.
• - User defined address book entry (card with a orange top-edge) Here you can add the details you and and manage the content as you wish.

Adding a publicly shared address

Adding an address book entry is easy and you have to option of adding either another ParcelsHere user or a manual entry, using this option does not require you fill out any address details apart from the username. Using a public search you can find users that either chosen to share their address publicly or be able to ask a user identified by their username to share their details with you.

Adding a new address

Adding a new address book entry (assuming this is not an already known registered ParcelsHere user) is easy and you can do that by adding the details manually.

This is an example of you being asked for your consent to access your data. You will find that the data that is being requested is listed below the name of the party that requests access.

Revoking Access

Did you know you can also revoke access to retailers at any time by going to your access manager.

To order a locker all you need to do is..

• Requires and account, sign up it is free
• Follow the link to the order a locker page and submit your order
• We will be in touch to confirm the order and agree a suitable location and installation date
• The engineer will show up with your “time-saver device” and install it at the agreed location
• You are ready to receive parcels

Installation process

After you successfully subscribed we will be in touch to do the following:

• Arrange a suitable time to install your locker
• We will come and do the installation
• Register and configure the locker
• You will be able to to use your locker

We have provided a simple registration process.

You simply provide your details, i.e. Name, address, and indicate if this is a “Personal” or “Organisation” subscription.

Provide the post code, and then choose your address from those available.

Once you have done that you can choose your preferred subscription option of monthly or yearly.

All we need then is your telephone number and your email address, so that we can arrange an installation date for your locker.

That’s it!

Once you are registered, you can view the details of your account at any time, by simply visiting the “Account” link on your profile details. You can amend any details you wish in your account, in addition to viewing invoices, active subscriptions etc.

This will enable this user to be always up to date with your addresses, whether it is in-person, locker(s) or any alternative addresses you may have.

This will also enable this user very quickly give you access to their locker on an ad hoc basis, of send you items with out having to type your addresses in.
